Welcome to Easts Toothless Tigers Rugby Union Club

We are a Veterans Rugby Club dedicated to the proposition of friendship and fraternity through footy.  We pride ourselves on being welcoming to all comers of all abilities.  If you played with Moses in the front row, or you've just finished a competitive club career, or maybe you've hit a certain age and fancy a more interesting exercise regime than walking the dog, come along and have a run.  We'd love you to play in our match games, but if you just want to "train" (just touch footy; no contact), you can do that, too.

• We train on Monday nights, in all weathers, starting at 1830.  Our field is at Bulimba St, Bulimba.

• We play over-35s on Friday nights.  Not every Friday, but about monthly.  There's no league ladder, and every game ends in a draw.  The games are still played competively, but always remembering that most of us have work on Monday, and none of our games are watched by talent scouts.  These games are included in your membership, and are cost-free.

• We play over-50s on Sunday afternoons.  Not every Sunday, but about monthly.  Over-50s is just like over-35s, but a little gentler and a lot less competitive.  And even if you're not over 50, you're welcome to play - just play in the right spirit.  Over-50s games are not included in your membership, but the fee to play is small, gets you a bevvy and a feed.

• Toothless Tigers and other clubs host occasional festivals, at which all clubs are welcome.  These festivals can be just over-35s games, or over-35s and over-50s games.  There is normally a small fee for participation, but usually includes a bevvy and a feed at the discretion of the hosting club.

• Want to play with of your kids? No problem! If your child is under 35, and you're a member, they can sign up as a Child of Toothless (COT) and enjoy a much discounted membership fee.  If your child is under 18, and you're a member, they can play along at touch at no charge, provided that they are supervised by you, play according to any special rules that the club might apply to them, and you have read the waiver extra carefully!
